Bao Shixian, a Yamaha Artist and contemporary Chinese pianist, is one of the most awarded and accomplished pianists currently.

In 2014, he won the Prix Cortot in France, hailed as a "well-deserved champion" by the jury chair, piano master Aldo Ciccolini, and was hailed as the "most promising pianist of the next decade" by the renowned French piano magazine, Pianiste.

While focusing on his piano career, he is also dedicated to piano education. In recent years, he has served on the jury at numerous major domestic and international competitions, and many of his students have won numerous awards in both domestic and international piano competitions. Bao Shixian is the author of "Don't Let Your Child Take the Road to Piano Learning."
